Striking the perfect balance between affordability and premium offerings, associations can attract a broader audience, retain members, and create an environment conducive to fostering meaningful connections.

Below are some use cases for pricing groups:

1. Membership Levels: Associations that have different levels of membership can use event pricing groups to offer exclusive pricing options based on those levels of membership providing added benefits and incentives for higher-tier members.

2. Access Levels: Events may have different access levels or tiers. Pricing groups can be utilized to set up pricing options corresponding to these access levels, allowing attendees to choose the experience that aligns with their preferences and budgets.

3. Discounts: Students or other specified groups can be given discounts or comped registration making attendance more accessible and inclusive.

4. Attract new members: Pricing groups can be used to as an inventive to encourage people to join as a new member. Associations could offer member-exclusive events. Likewise, discounted event registration rates exclusively for non-members who join provides a compelling incentive for potential members to join. By creating pricing groups that make it a more affordable option to join and register for the event at the same time compared to registering as a non-member.

5. Membership Renewals: Pricing groups can be created to auto-assign members, with expiring memberships before the event, to only be applicable for choosing the non-member pricing. This gives members the reminder and incentive to renew their membership before/while registering to receive the member pricing.

These are just a few examples of how associations can use event pricing groups to promote membership benefits, create a sense of value, and attract new members.
