SEO (Search Engine Optimization) related options
- You will be able to apply a page title suffix that will appear on every page. Every tab that you open, the suffix will appear within that website. This will help users identify your website on the tabs that they have open!
- You will also be able to ask external search engines not to index your page. You will be able to have a tag on your page that asks google and other search engines not to index you page.
Two new configuration options for URLs
- Settings RiSE quick setup – You will be able to use simple URLs in sitemap navigation. By stripping out the navigation path within the URL, it simplifies it to only show the website name and path to content, making it easier to recognize.
- Use canonical links for SEO – When two different users are browsing your website they may have reached your page through different access points. With canonical links you will be provided a URL that is going to be the same no matter how you arrived at the content. This way google identifies this as one page no matter how it is accessed. Therefore, it will add up all of the different hits when people access this page and increase your rankings. The way that it is being constructed is by using the first URL that you have defined within your website, website name, path to content and URL parameters.
