Digital Transformation was the buzzword at this year’s iNNOVATIONS conference. As ASI outlined, migrating to iMIS EMS (iMIS Cloud) is an essential part of that digital transformation journey for an iMIS customer. An EMS migration will not only help staff with their daily tasks but also help their members have the best experience! It was clear that IMIS EMS has reached a much higher level of adoption than in the past and ASI is putting in all the effort to make it a robust and mature cloud platform.
Web Hooks & Hosted Services
The most notable new features of iMIS EMS that stood out were Webhooks and migrating from hosted virtual servers to services. Webhooks bring a new level of cloud friendly ways to automate processes and integrate disparate systems. Moving to services will be a new milestone for iMIS as that will ensure improvements in performance and scalability.
iMIS App Challenge
With the iMIS App Challenge, I got a glimpse of what is possible to build and deploy within the iMIS Cloud environment. From Power Automate to Survey Buddy, partners are building the tools to extend iMIS capabilities, which helps build the confidence around any gaps that may be perceived with iMIS being on the cloud.
There were numerous useful sessions at iNNOVATIONS where ASI outlined all the tools and strategies that help clients easily migrate to iMIS EMS. Now more than ever clients not already migrating should consider moving to the iMIS Cloud. It is becoming a mature cloud platform that provides a secure, available, and scalable version of iMIS for staff and for their constituents.
