When I started my internship at John Consulting, I had to complete iMIS training to understand how to use the software, which has many uses. I was completely unfamiliar with the system, and worried about whether I could navigate the system and grasp how to use it. Luckily, the training was designed in such a way that made it easy to comprehend the various elements within the iMIS software.
The ease with which I did the training was thanks to TopClass LMS integration within iMIS. TopClass LMS is a learning management system that was made to be used by non-profits, and it has many benefits ranging from tracking trainings to getting rid of manual data entry.
Below are features that demonstrate how TopClass strengthens the iMIS experience for an organization’s staff members: For users working in iMIS they deal with manual tasks, such as importing/exporting member data and managing profiles of staff training activity. These tasks take up time that could be used by staff for other projects. Fortunately, TopClass offers two-way real time integration with iMIS which allows user data, course completions, and certifications to flow between TopClass LMS and iMIS.
The integration eliminates dual entry by syncing learner profiles, which ensures their member record stays up to date. Additionally, this prevents duplicate data and lessens errors that come from manually entering data.
Learning is a different process for everyone, and not everyone learns at the same space. To understand a topic, one person may want to read about it, while another may prefer watching a video. People also come from different professional backgrounds, so our knowledge of different topics is different.
The integration between the iMIS and TopClass allows organizations to tailor training based on member roles, interests, or certification needs. Member profile data and group structures sync from iMIS to TopClass, so organizations can build role-based tracks. For example, new iMIS users will see beginner content in their learning center, and admins can view advanced trainings.
As staff are completing training, supervisors will want to monitor their progress. Having an idea of how the staff are doing during their training can reveal information about their strengths and weaknesses, which is essential for supervisors to know. This information can allow supervisors to assign more training for the staff members to improve on different elements.
Thanks to TopClass integration, course completions and certifications sync back into iMIS in real time, giving the organization an accurate and up-to-date view of member training activity. Additionally, TopClass provides detailed analytics to track learner engagement and completion rates.
Another exciting feature of the two-way integration is that if you decide to grow your organization, TopClass LMS offers scalable training. The system can support various formats like self-paced courses and live virtual conferences. For users working on the go through their phones, they offer mobile-friendly access to learning materials. Whether your audience is a few hundred users or tens of thousands, TopClass integration can support everyone.
Overall, TopClass's integration with iMIS offers various benefits to an organization due to two way integration, tailored training, analytics on training activity, automation of key processes, and scalable training programs.
