Modernizing the premiere third-party logistics association
Modernizing the premiere third-party logistics association
The goal was to modernize the Transportation Intermediaries Association’s (TIA) digital presence to better support its members and showcase its leadership in the transportation industry. TIA represents third-party logistics professionals across North America, coordinating the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. The new site reflects the dynamic nature of TIA’s members and provides easy access to important content, tools, and services. Key improvements include streamlined navigation, a responsive design, and prominent placement for news, events, membership, and partner resources.
We managed a full redesign and migration from WordPress to iMIS EMS, refreshing TIA’s brand with updated colors, fonts, videos, and illustrations.
The result is a clean, scalable iMIS site that better serves TIA’s staff and members.

The new TIA website was built entirely in iMIS RiSE, replacing a previous WordPress-based site. This shift to EMS and RiSE brought significant improvements in site functionality, content management, and member self-service.
Mobile-first design was a priority throughout the redesign. Alternate screen views and tailored styles were delivered during the design process to ensure a seamless and functional experience across phones, tablets, and desktops.
Several fully designed pages were created using Bootstrap 5-based HTML and CSS within RiSE. These reusable content components give the site a consistent, modern look that is easy to maintain and expand. Examples include:
The site includes a custom expandable navigation menu built with jQuery and CSS animations. This enhanced menu was designed to support the extensive content and section structure required by TIA, while maintaining an intuitive and polished user experience.

Advanced Designed Elements
One key achievement was replacing the third-party Naylor sponsor marketplace with a custom-built, native iMIS solution: the TIA website. This new marketplace allows sponsors to:
Another major success was automating TIA’s complex corporate membership join process. This process had been handled manually with paper forms due to a previous nonfunctional custom system. Using standard iMIS EMS tools, we:

Together, these changes mark an important digital upgrade for TIA. By combining modern design, enhanced functionality, and streamlined content management into a single, scalable platform, TIA is now better equipped to support its members and sponsors. The new iMIS-based website not only improves the user experience but also reduces administrative overhead, enabling TIA staff to focus on delivering value to their community.
This transformation positions TIA for future growth and continued leadership in the transportation industry by providing a flexible, user-friendly, and fully integrated digital environment.
